Talking Temperature
Keep in mind, only objects can be warm, kalt or heiß. For example, Der Tee ist kalt! or Die Kartoffeln sind warm! You'll learn how to complain about yourself being too hot or cold later.

The word welch is another one that changes based on the noun after it. This word uses the der word endings.

Welche is demonstrative pronoun that follows the same declination as the word "der". Therefore, you would decline "welche" in the same way you would decline "der".

Asking where in German can be tricky! Let’s look at the difference between wo, wohin, and woher.
Wo ist sein Schuh?
Where is his shoe?
Woher kommst du?
Where do you come from?

Don’t be fooled! The wo‑ in question words doesn't always mean where. Sometimes it means what.
Womit schreibt er?
What does he write with?
Wofür ist das Werkzeug?
What is the tool for?
Worüber spricht sie?
What does she talk about?
Das ist alles worüber er spricht.
That is all he talks about.
Notice the stealthy r in worüber? It gets stuck in there because it would be too difficult to pronounce the two vowels next to each other otherwise!
